Milestone Programs (infants through 5 year olds)

Our curriculum is designed with the child’s age and capabilities in mind, and each child progresses at their own rate in a non-competitive but stimulating atmosphere. Using our Milestones Observation Forms, we continuously observe the children and provide feedback to parents about their child's progress.

For detailed information on what and how your child will learn at each age and developmental milestone, contact us to see our Curriculum Objectives. Our Curriculum Objectives show what your child will learn and should know per term, and what they will learn and should know for their age group.

Children do learn at different rates so we work with parents to provide the best learning environment for their child.

INFANT PROGRAM

Our Infant Program is designed to work with your infant's individual needs, adapting to their physical, cognitive and psychosocial stages of development. At Little Miracles School, caregivers know all about helping your infant build a sense of security and laying a foundation for the development of confidence and trust. Little Miracles caregivers work closely with you on a daily basis to ensure we are meeting your infant's evolving needs through individualized schedules and loving, attentive care.

TODDLER PROGRAM

Fun and educational activities and materials are provided to foster your child's language development, and social, emotional and cognitive growth. Toddlers are encouraged to explore, discover, invent and experiment while they gain an understanding of the world around them. Children are taught in a caring and nurturing environment and given opportunities for individual and group activities.

TWO-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM

As two-year-old children gain more independence and mobility, they wish to explore the world around them. Little Miracles caring staff will guide your child in daily activities that enhance their language and socialization skills by incorporating children's literature, art exploration, music and movement activities in their programs. All activities are administered with tender loving care and are designed to meet the needs of your naturally curious and active two-year old. Our goal is to give your child everything he/she needs to grow into a happy, healthy and successful person.

THREE-YEAR OLD PROGRAM

The three-year-old program promotes your child's independence, imagination and creativity. Your three-year-old is becoming interested in activities with structure. Language, reading readiness, and socialization skills are integrated in daily activities. Children are encouraged to       speak in sentences, and identify colors and shapes. Further, they will gain a love of children's literature and begin to recognize individual letters of the alphabet. The program helps your child put all of his or her new skills together to promote a feeling of competency and confidence.
